   The equipment used is top of the line, fast and reliable.  Different makers (Compaq, ...) are used, and different configurations too (minimum speed: 2 GHZ; minimum RAM: 2 GB).  All are on a Windows platform. The data centers are state-of-the-art, provide for fast, reliable and redundant connectivity, and they are attended 24/7.

8. How quickly will my account be set up after I sign up?
   Account set ups are processed within minutes of signing up. A welcome message including your FTP/FrontPage account username and password, a temporary web address and  instructions will be sent to you within one to six business hours.  At this point, your account will then be operational for you to start uploading your web site.

9. What if I order a new web hosting account, but I don't receive anything from you within 12 hours.  What should I do?
   If you do not receive an email from us within twelve hours of signing up, please contact sales. If possible, please include your domain name, your email address used to order and contact information in your email.

11. Is my Apple Macintosh computer compatible with your hosting plans?
    Our MICROSOFT WINDOWS web servers use standard FTP (file transfer protocol) and HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol).  Therefore, you can build your site on any Apple Macintosh-based or Windows-based PC and use Microsoft FrontPage, FTP (Fetch, ...), Dreamweaver, Adobe GoLive or any other publishing software, to upload your website files to your web hosting account space.

    General Hosting reserves the right to remove any executable file(s) or scripts, which we deem are harming the server environment and/or affecting other customers' website performance. General Hosting is not liable for any system faults or unintentional deletes of any files due to mishaps, system failure,  acts of God or other reason.
